Wrestling

John started wrestling in January. They usually don't start wrestling until they are 5 years old, but since Donnie agreed to coach they allowed the 4 year old's to wrestle! John was so excited to start wrestling practice!

Donnie arranged for the kids to compete in a local wrestling tournament at Ulster County Community College. It was the first time for the kids to compete outside of practice. It was a great first wrestling tournament experience for everyone. John didn't win any of his matches, but he had fun and learned what a real wrestling meet is all about...John was the youngest and smallest kid at the tournament. I have to say it was really hard to watch my little boy out on the mats, but I was so proud of him!
