Potty Time!

Luke is 21 months old and has become obsessed with going potty! He wants to go to the potty everytime you change his diaper, and always before bathtime! Most Mom's would be thrilled that their baby is trying to potty train himself, but it has become an added ritual to each diaper change, which is a little time consuming when you are in a hurry or just plain feeling lazy. I will say, he can almost always get a little out, but I don't think we are quite ready for full-time potty training. He is however, The Most Adorable little guy on the potty!!!

A Blast from the Past!

Katie had her second Girl Scout meeting yesterday! She is a Daisy and absolutely adorable in her outfit! She is VERY excited to start earning her Daisy petals! I actually ironed them all on the first time I put her uniform together! Shows what little I know about Girl Scouts. I thought they were part of the outfit! Thank goodness the other mom told me before I sent her off to her first meeting, and I was able to remove them! Yikes! So far she has only earned the middle part of the flower, and I think that is just for joining! Now to learn the Girl Scout Promise!


Last night was the West Point Women's Club's 80's Bingo Night! What a great night! It was so much FUN to see everyone's 80's costumes! Big hair, leggings, old prom dresses and leg warmers! Katie loved my outfit! Which is a little scary! I am worried about what kind of outfits she will be trying to put together as a teenager, especially since she thought my outfit and make-up looked SO GOOD! What fun to come!

American Museum of Natural History

We enjoyed a fun filled day in NYC at the American Museum of Natural History. The drive to NYC was super easy, that may be because Donnie drove and I didn't, but it really was quick and painless. I think we will do it more often as we explore what all NYC has to offer. Our day started off with the amazing butterfly exhibit. They have so many different kinds of butterflies and they were all so beautiful. This one landed on my bag and stuck with us for a while in the exhibit. There was so much to explore and see at the museum. The kids really enjoyed looking for things from the movie "Night at the Museum". The two favorites were Rexi and the Dumb-Dumb give me some Gum-Gum head. What a great day in NYC!

I am finally blogging!

I have decided it is time to blog. I always enjoy reading friends blogs, so I thought it would be fun to start a LaGrange Family blog. I am hoping it will be a great way to keep up with all of the exciting milestones for Katie, John, & Luke. I hope this is easier than scrapbooking otherwise, this blog will be short lived. I am planning to post regularly!
