T.G.I.F.

...literally this is how I felt, I could not have been more thrilled that it was Friday than on this Friday!  After weeks of unpacking, Donnie working late every night, and not eating dinner as a family, it was Friday and Donnie was coming home to grill out and spend sometime with us!

The kids were out riding bikes when Donnie got home and it was happy screams from all three, "Daddy's Home!"

After a delicious dinner on the grill that I did not have to make, we took the kids gator out to collect some wood for the firepit!  They all took turns driving and loading up the sticks in the back!

We built a nice little fire with all of the sticks we collected out back in the woods.

Root Beer floats are perfect for watching the fire!

It was the perfect Friday Night after two very long weeks of moving!!!

Two Wheels

In the middle of unpacking boxes and putting together the new house, John learned to ride without training wheels! He was racing up and down the street so fast on his bike the training wheels practically flew off his bike!

I love the proud look on his face!!!

Happy 4th of July!

...with Donnie's deployment getting closer, and so many of our friends who are already deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan...it is days like this that you are extra thankful for the freedoms we have because of our service men and women...I know how blessed I am to have a day like this with family...and as our trip came to an end we celebrated with the way Texans do with BBQ and fireworks!!!

We celebrated a little early with fireworks this year since it was time for us to head back to NY and get moved into our new home in Fort Drum!  What a great kick off to summer celebrating with family and friends while waited for our new home!
