Spring Concert!

Katie's class performed in the West Point Elementary School Spring Concert. They sang Wacky Spring Fever & Guacamole. I love the big smile that Katie gets on her face when she is on stage!

Fishing Derby

We spent the morning at Round Pond for the Kids Fishing Derby. The kids LOVE to go fishing!
John caught this trout early on our fishing trip, so we thought it was going to be lucky fishing day, but as it turned out this little trout was the only fish we caught on this trip! John was a little hesitant to hold him for a picture.

T-ball

John played t-ball again this Spring. We had a lot of rain this season, but when he got to play he really had a blast! Thanks Coach Angela!

Prom Flashback!

Our friends the Lewison's had an 80's Prom Party to celebrate getting out of the Army. I squeezed into my prom dress from my sophomore year of high school, and Donnie put together an 80's rock formal outfit.

school days...

Katie has made some wonderful friends this year! On this particular morning Katie saw her friends walking to school together and basically jumped out of the car to walk with them! She was so excited! It is hard to believe she is almost finished with 1st grade, and will be riding the bus next year! Yikes! Where does the time go?

Thank you for teaching us yoga Ms. Becky! Katie's Girl Scout Daisy Troop earned their red petal "courageous and strong" through their yoga lesson! It also happened to be Pajama Day at school for most of the girls. What a fun day!

Mother's Day Tea

John's Pre-K Class planned a special Mother's Day Tea! It was so sweet! They sang us a beautiful little song.

They even answered some special questions about us! Precious!! I LOVE that he thinks I am pretty as Katie!
Our last special surprise was the bracelets they made us! John made a beautiful pattern and the clasp had a little picture frame with John's picture from the beginning of the school year! John, thanks for making me feel so special!
