Musical Theater

John took Musical Theater this year and they did a little performance for their last class! The performance was inspired by the Musical Cats. John got his face painted like a cat! He was really excited to have some "boy make-up" as he called it!

As you can see he really gets into performing for the audience! And he LOVES using the hats for props! My little STAR performer!

Hair Cut!

Katie has been wanting to get her hair cut short for a while now. I told her she had to wait until after her dance recital. So today, she got it cut! She looks adorable as you can see! Although, I am going to miss those ponytails! Katie was SO EXCITED and SHE LOVES IT!

Gone Fishin'

Donnie leaves for ILE next week, so he asked the kids what they wanted to do this weekend. They all wanted to go fishing! We went out to Round Pond.

Luke liked to pick up sticks and throw them in the water!

Ohh! John got a big bite! But, then it got away!

We didn't catch any fish this evening, but Donnie took Katie & John back the next morning and they caught 5! The kids were VERY excited!

Dance Recital

Katie had her dance recital today! She looked so much older all dressed up in her costume with make-up on! She was super excited! I can't believe how fast my "little girl" is growing up! Here are Katie & John before the dance recital!

How to Train Your Dragon...

in 3-D!!! Katie, John & I went to see How to Train Your Dragon with our neighbors. It was the kids 1st 3-D movie! What a cute movie! The kids wore their glasses most of time, too! We brought our 3-D glasses home to play with and to show Daddy! Luke got to have my pair of glasses! Aren't they adorable...

Springtime...

is my favorite time of year in New York. After the long, cold winter it is so nice to have warm days to play outside in the Spring. The trees are green, the flowers have started to bloom, you hear lots kids laughing and playing, and the smells of families out grilling! I LOVE IT! The kids love to play in the backyard while Donnie grills. We got a "new to us" playset for the kids and spent the afternoon outside grilling while the kids played!

Wicked...

my 1st Broadway Show in NYC!!!

The West Point Women's Club went to NYC to see Wicked! It was so much fun! What a wonderful night! Great friends, great dinner, and a GREAT Show! I really can't put into words how much I enjoyed the show! I love, Love, LOVED it!
